The temple door was covered up to protect the carving and has a welcome in Futhark letters around the door. The door shield is a reproduction of the osberg tapestry shield and the top interlaced circles depict Odin/Thor/Frey-Freya. The Top ornament is a interlaced 4 square (firkant) indicating the world 4 directions. It would have been a Fylfot (sun symbol) but the idiots would have called me a nazi.
The shied expressing the world tree in all four quadrants is from Osberg Tapestry
